Focus on European Crafts Sector
Policy Dialogues on 10 December 2025

10 December will be an important day for policy dialogue in the European crafts sector, with two events happening in parallel

Contractual Policy Round Table organised by CRAFTOUR – Brussels

This round table brings together representatives from four EU-funded projects: Craeft, Colour4Crafts, Hephaestus, and Tracks4Crafts. Together we will present to European Institutions our joint policy recommendations addressing four core objectives:

  • Understanding, mapping, valorising, and documenting European crafts

  • Safeguarding and promoting the authenticity of European crafts

  • Strengthening the transmission of skills and know-how through both formal and non-formal education

  • Empowering business models that support a sustainable, innovative European crafts sector

“Beyond the Findings: What’s Next for European Craftsmanship?” - online, open to public

At the same time, ECA, a T4C project partner, is hosting a public policy forum, building on:

  • White Paper on European Craftsmanship (FOACAL, 2025)

  • Study on Cross-cutting Priorities for the European Crafts Sector and the Creative Europe Programme (ECA, 2025)

This event is open to the public, and you can join online.
